I am your too average Canadian with too much debt and too little savings. Having crashed financially, I am now looking to find ways of scrimping and saving in these troubled times. This is not to say that I won’t spend money, rather, I want to make sure that I will spend what money I have wisely.

Good luck on your journey. If you’re anything like me, starting your blog is the best thing you could have done to actually start getting out of debt. It makes you accountable to both yourself and your readers.
My goal is to retire at 40 and in just three months I have changed a number of aspects of my life, my outlook has completely changed and I know I can actually reach the goal I have set myself.
It’s going to be a fun journey! Good luck.

Thank you! It is helpful. It forces me to think and evaluate all my purchases. It also helps to discover new ways of saving money.
