Using the Internet to Save Money

The internet can be a wonderful tool to save money. My wife and I love Safeway’s tomato butternut squash bisque signature soup. It is simply delicious, but EXPENSIVE! More than $5 for two cups of soup. I wanted to find a way of replicating the soup. In doing a web search I was able to find a recipe to cook this soup. For less than ten dollars, I can make four liters or soup. Being a cheapskate does not mean sacrificing life’s little pleasures, but being creative and knowing how to search the internet to find better and cheaper alternatives.
