Well, I decided to buy one. I went to Stokes and saw that they had a 6-cup espresso maker and a milk frother on sale.

Somewhat like this one, except for the color (mine is red on the top and metallic silver on the bottom).

Made my first latté. Worked like a charm! Made a delicious latté (three actually). So, at a cost of roughly $5 for a latté, my purchases have almost paid for themselves on the first day.

For a nice how-to-guide on how to use such a espresso stovetop pot, I suggest that you visit the Coffee Makers Café site. It provides a nice description as to how to brew an espresso. I will be tweaking my espresso making skills using the information from here.
